Better face-lift reduces recovery time, has smaller scar and is done in physician’s office with local anesthetic.
Are the negative cosmetic effects of age stealing

The MACS-Lift is an ingenious minimally invasive
outpatient procedure that’s a perfect example of how
less can offer more.It’s performed at the Dermatology
Associates office by Dr. Robert Lamberts using oral
sedation (Valium) to relax the patient and tumescent
local anesthesia. The tumescent anesthesia serves dual
purposes by gently lifting the skin from underlying
tissue and allowing for a nearly bloodless procedure.
A small incision is made in the natural crease in front
of the ear and is meticulously closed. It heals to a barely
detectable scar. Patients are allowed to go home and
relax after the surgery.

It the entire procedure takes about two hours and results in:
- A natural more youthful look.
- Quick recovery time (3 – 7 days).
- Cost savings (about 1/3 the cost of a traditional face-lift)
c and lower risk, since general anesthesia is not involved.
- Smaller incisions with virtually no bleeding.
- Less post-operative bruising, swelling, pain and scarring.
- Youthful restoration of sagging skin in the lower 2/3rds
c of the face and neck.

Recovery from the MACS-Lift is much easier with less
potential for complications and discomfort due to
procedure’s innovative technique.

Dr. Lamberts has also had great success combining the
MACS-Lift with other “mini” treatments for even more
dramatic results. Some of the options he employs include:
- New non-ablative lasers that resurface the skin without
c damaging the outer layer of the dermis.
- Botox Cosmetic, Dr. Lamberts has been selected by its
c manufacturer to train other physicians in its usage.
- Fillers, Dr. Lamberts has extensive experience using the
c latest and best fillers such as Sculptra, Cosmoplast,
c Radiesse and Restylane.
