Banish Age Spots and Reverse Sun Damage

Benefits
Sun damage can be reversed and LimeLight Pulsed Light Therapy is the ideal non-ablative procedure to eliminate age spots and freckles. This is a safe, quick, painless and effective way to improve skin imperfections. After 1 – 2 short procedures age spots flake off revealing younger, clearer skin. Patient results can vary depending on skin conditions, but common improvements include:
• Elimination of age spots and freckles
ccaused by exposure to the sun
• Softer, smoother skin
• Smaller pores
• Fewer wrinkles
• Reduced redness

This advanced treatment is also more comfortable than
previous choices, with no numbing gels or creams required.
In fact, patients are able to return to normal daily activities
after treatment. Many of our patients visit during their lunch
hour and return to work following Pulsed Light Therapy.

How It Works
Virtually any part of your body can be treated with the face, shoulders, chest, arms and hands being the most popular treatment sites.

Pulsed Light Treatment is delivered with a cooled hand piece. Pigmented spots on the skin selectively absorb this light. Heating of pigmented cells causes a therapeutic effect that results in healing of sun damage. During the procedure, some people experience a mild, brief pinching sensation during certain light pulses.

What To Expect
Treatment times vary depending on the size of the treatment
area, but usually only take a few minutes. Afterwards spots
will start to darken, and the surrounding skin may be slightly
red for a couple of hours. After one to three weeks, darkened
spots will fade and flake off.

Most patients see significant improvement within two to
three weeks but the final results may not be apparent for a
month or more. back to top
