We are among the first medical

The Fraxel Laser has recently captured

The Fraxel Laser provides an aggressive laser treatment that
requires no downtime and reduces sun damage, wrinkles,
scars, brown spots and age spots while producing tighter
skin with improved tone and elasticity.
In the past, to obtain this kind of result patients had to endure
ablative laser treatment, which is very effective but has more
side effects, significant discomfort and a longer recovery.
How it Works
Rather than remove the top layer of skin, like ablative lasers,
the Fraxel Laser produces microscopic sites of thermal impact
separated by areas of unaffected tissue. The spared healthy
tissue between treatment zones contains cells that promote
rapid healing. At the same time, each micro thermal zone
penetrates deep into the dermis stimulating collagen
remodeling and new skin.
What to Expect
Treatment is performed in our office by one of our physicians
and takes about an hour. Afterwards, you can continue
with your normal daily activities. Side effects are minimal
and sometimes include slight swelling and redness
(like a mild sunburn).
Most patients see significant improvement within two to
three weeks but the final results may not be apparent for a
month or more. Optimal results are usually obtained after
